This is mess free. The color appears only on a certain part of the paper that has a special coating layer which is clear initially before the color is added. The paints are clear in color and only apply in color when colored on the special paper tablets. The color will not appear on skin, clothes, walls or carpets and furniture's. Thus making it quite user friendly. Crayola magic paint brush requires 3 AA batteries for it to function. The blunt end of the brush is connected to a wire, which is run by the battery. The clear bristles of the paint brush light up when the tip of the brush is held over a pat pot showing the color of the clear paint that will get itched on the paper. Because the kit is equipped with clips of various kinds to hold the brush, paint pots and painting paper in place because obviously the kids will not stay in one place. The paint brush tip comes off and therefore is easy to clean after use. The brush is easily to clean between applications as well. Just wipe the bristles on a piece of cloth and move on to the next color.

Even if the clear paint spills on the floor, it can be wiped off quite easily with a wet cloth. It looks like clear gel. This will make a great kit for your children.
