The Popularity of Jane Austen Sequels

Most of have read one of Jane Austen’s novels may have tried to imagine what life would have been like for the characters, after the last page was written. There are plenty of Regency Jane Austen sequels that you would enjoy reading. While some offer a different perspective of a Jane Austen novel, others offer a follow-up to it. Still others offer a story that focuses on side characters of a classic novel. Presumption: An Entertainment is one such novel by Julia Barrett. It follows the life of Darcy’s younger sister Georgina. Darcy’s Story by Janet Alymer offers Darcy’s perspective of the situations and plot created by Austen in her novel.
